Rosemount, founded in 1956 by Frank Werner, Robert Keppel, and Vernon Heath in the Minneapolis–Saint Paul area, initially focused on the rapidly expanding aerospace industry, driven by the U.S. space program. In 1966, the company diversified into the commercial processing industry and became known as Rosemount Inc., marking the beginning of its evolution into a leader in industrial measurement solutions.

Rosemount specializes in manufacturing precision measurement instrumentation, including devices for pressure, temperature, level, and differential pressure (DP) flow, as well as wireless solutions.
